I’ve spent nearly three decades in recruitment, and one thing has never changed — people do business with people.
I started JB Select Recruitment because I wanted to bring recruitment back to what it should be: personal, honest and relationship led. No “CV flinging”. No salesy nonsense. Just proper matchmaking between good businesses and good people.
I’m not a call centre. When you work with me, you get me — experience, instinct, straight-talking honesty and all.

Over the years I’ve recruited for everything from entry-level office stars to senior managers and niche specialists across finance, operations, manufacturing, marketing and beyond.
I take the time to understand who you are, how you work and what you actually need — not just what’s written on a job description.
Outside of recruitment, I’m usually walking my dog Lola, organising my life with more to-do lists than strictly necessary, or convincing myself that I do like the gym. (Still undecided.)
